Homesense and TK Maxx, our sister company, have been partners of The Prince’s Trust's Get Into Retail programme since 2014 (2016 for Homesense). Get into Retail is a two to six week course that develops young people’s skills in the retail sector. We’re proud to have helped over 1500 young people through the Get into Retail programme, with over 70% of them going on to get a job with us.
Homesense is also supporting young people through The Prince’s Trust’s Achieve programme, a personal development course aimed to re-engage 13 to 19-year-olds with education. The programme helps young people who are at risk of underachieving at school or college to engage with and succeed in their education.
Homesense and TK Maxx are proud sponsors of The Prince’s Trust Awards for the sixth year running. The Awards recognise young people who have succeeded against the odds, improved their chances in life and had a positive impact on their local communities, as well as people who have played a role in supporting the work of the Trust.

Meet Levi. He was adopted from a young age and moved to an education support centre during his teens, due to troubles at school. This is where he started on the Achieve programme. Since then, Levi has obtained his Level 1 Award, mentored other young people, taken his GCSEs and is now applying for apprenticeships. He shares, ‘The Prince’s Trust became my safe haven. Life’s more manageable when you have people around who you can trust’.
