Communities

Our aim is to help children and young people achieve their potential in our local communities, focusing on those facing challenges with health, education and poverty. We do this by partnering with local and national charities.

Helping children with disabilities thrive

TK Maxx and Homesense are proud to partner with Enable Ireland to support young people with disabilities. Through this partnership, we’ve helped Enable Ireland to provide vital therapy and support services to over 32,000 children and young people across Ireland.

Supporting communities to develop sustainable trade

Working with over 4,000 local people in the remote Rwenzori region of Western Uganda, our Sustainable Trade Programme was developed in 2011.

The aim of the programme is to help parents ensure their children complete primary education. We do this by helping them increase their income from the production and sale of coffee, cocoa, cotton and crafts. We're proud to sell some of these products in store and online as part of our ‘Made to do Good’ range.
